BELVEDERE FBC KICK STARTS NEW CFR CHAPTER ...   Members and friends of Belvedere First Baptist Church, near Aiken, recently kick started their new chapter of CFR.  The picture below shows some of the brothers and sisters who participated in this special event.  Congratulations on your new chapter, Belvedere!  We are excited for you and can't wait to see what Bro Tom Rogers and all the great guys and gals from Belvedere do with this very special ministry in their community!

NORTH-SOUTH CFR RALLY 2008 ...     The short video above is from the North-South CFR Rally 2008, held in Myrtle Beach on April 4-6.  Wow!  It was an awesome time of networking, learning, sharing, fellowship, prayer, worship, and praise!  And did we say -- God was there with us!  Just check out that beautiful sky on Saturday night (that was a weekend of horrific storms from Alabama to North Carolina ... and they pretty much stayed away from us and our motorcycles almost the entire weekend).    Surely enjoyed seeing all of you and hope to be together again soon to the glory of God!

EASY RIDE ...     IF YOU WANT TO KNOW WHY WE RIDE ... check out the short video above.  It is a nice, easy, uneventful ride.  If you have never ridden, this is a pretty good introduction to what it is like on the seat of a motorcycle in traffic.  Just add a little wind and imagine the smell of the grass and fresh flowers -- and you are almost there.   IF YOU WANT TO KNOW WHY WE MINISTER ... check out the short video below.  It's all about Jesus!  He is our Lord and Savior and King and Very Best Friend!  If you've never actualy met Him, you can get to know Him right now.  It's as easy as the "ABC's" ... A = ADMIT that you are a sinner like the rest of us.  You have blown it -- probably mroe times than you can count. B = BELIEVE that God took care of all that stuff for you.  He did it through Jesus Christ on the cross at Calvary.  You don't have to understand it in your head.  You don't have to be really smart either.  Just get it into your heart that God loves you, and that Jesus paid the full price for you and for all the bad stuff you ever did.  Pretty amazing, huh! C = CHANGE your direction.  There is some garbage behavior you have been doing that can be tough to stop.  In fact, you can't do it without Jesus.  But you still have to change the direction your life is headed.  Think of it like this ... You are out there on a Texas highway, enjoying the big sky and wide open space.  All of a sudden, you start thinking about California and how nice it would be riding along the Pacific Coast highway.  You can't be there right now, but you still have those handlebars and the throttle in your hands.  So you swing your scooter to the west and roll towards the sunset.  You are now going in the right direction.  Along the way, you see some potholes in the road.  You push and pull on those handlebars to avoid the potholes. Sooner or later, if you keep moving in the new direction and keep dodging the potholes, you're going to end up on the Pacific Coast highway -- right where you wanted to be.  God wants to make you a new man or new woman.  He will do for you over time what you cannot do for yourself.  He will change you.  He will change who you are.  You don't have to change yourself.  Your job is just to grab onto the handlebars, hold on to your motorcycle, change directions when you see those potholes, and travel with Him wherever His road leads your life.  Jesus will get you where you are supposed to go.  He will change you from the inside out.  You just need to change diredtions, ride with Him, dodge the potholes, and follow His lead. ... and did we say -- those ABC's are actually easier than riding a motorcycle -- and more important too!!!  Watch the video below ...

EVANGELISM LINEBACKER ...   Brother J. D. Tew (Freedom Biker Church) showed this video during the North-South CFR Rally at Myrtle Beach in April 2008.  Everyone enjoyed it so much that we decided to include it on our website and share it with you.      A word of caution ... that's NOT how we do things here at Carolina Faith Riders.    We know that some motorcycle ministries have different approaches, but we are deeply committed to evangelism and discipleshp and missions.  We are unique in that we are actually PART OF THE LOCAL CHURCH.  We work under the cover of the church ... under the supervision of the pastor ... and as part of the larger vision and plan for the local church to reach lost members of the local community and share the love of Jesus Christ with them.   We love our motorcycles, but our heart is for Jesus!  It doesn't matter what you ride -- or even if you are "in between motorcycles."  If you love the freedom of riding and the freedom that Jesus Christ gives us, then CFR has something for you!
